Rey Aldwin and Kate Valeriano, are the proud owners and founders of KRT Mobile Coffee and Milktea, a pioneering business that redefines street vending by offering a unique mobile cart concept with no rent, flexibility, and low operational expenses. The business was born during the pandemic in 2020 when commercial spaces were shutting down, and they saw an opportunity to serve communities in a new way.

Both Rey and Kate are graduates of Polytechnic University of the Philippines (PUP). Rey is a Certified Public Accountant, while Kate holds a degree in Marketing. Growing up in poverty in a squatter area, they overcame humble beginnings. Their paths crossed through Kate’s mentor, and what started as a business partnership eventually blossomed into marriage.

Now, they are on a mission to elevate the image of street vending in the Philippines. They challenge the notion that street vendors offer cheap, dirty, or poor-quality products.

With KRT Mobile, they provide an elevated customer experience, helping Filipinos start a simple, unique, and profitable business. Their vision is to empower aspiring entrepreneurs to thrive with a business model that is accessible, yet impactful.
